OnePlus confirms Google Assistant is now available on the OnePlus 3 and 3T

It's been less than three weeks since we've got word that Google Assistant has started to arrive on the OnePlus 3 smartphones. In the meantime, it looks like the OnePlus 3T has been treated the same way, so the Assistant should be available on this particular flagship as well.

More importantly, OnePlus announced earlier today that its two high-end smartphones, OnePlus 3 and 3T, should both have the personal digital assistant installed.

While some OnePlus 3 and 3T users have been fortunate to receive Google Assistant, it looks like not everyone got it so early. But that's quite understandable since the roll-out may have been tied to the user's region.

Google announced a few weeks back that its Assistant will be made available to all compatible smartphones running Android Nougat and Marshmallow. The search giant also confirmed that Google Assistant would not be coming to Android tablets for the moment.

Did you get Google Assistant on your OnePlus 3 or 3T smartphone yet? Do you find it useful enough to have worth the wait?

Long press of home button, or say "Ok Google"...

"Okay Google" might trigger Google voice search if the assistant isn't available.

Hello, simply open the Google app, go to settings, of you find a section about assistant then you've got it on your phone. How that helped.

If you have the assistant on your phone, the first time you say "OK Google" it will notify you that it now has the assistant.
