OnePlus 6 to be unveiled on May 17, launch event tickets start selling on April 27 (UPDATED)
UPDATE: OnePlus has just announced its new flagship smartphone will be introduced in Europe on May 16. The launch event will take place in London, UK, and if you want to attend, you can now buy tickets for prices between £16 and £30. The OnePlus 6 launch event will be livestreamed as well.

Reports about OnePlus 6's unveiling have been a little bit confusing, but that's probably because the Chinese handset maker plans to have more than just one launch event. Our previous report claimed the OnePlus 6 will be unveiled on May 18 and that doesn't seem far from the truth.

However, what appears to be a teaser for the OnePlus 6 launch event suggests the flagship will actually be revealed on May 17. The launch event will take place in China and fans will be able to buy tickets starting April 27.

The OnePlus 6 is supposed to be introduced in India on May 18, so the previous rumors may not have been entirely wrong. Along with the regular OnePlus 6, an Avengers-themed limited edition variant is likely to be unveiled as well (or perhaps slightly earlier).

As far as price and specs go, you can find more details in our OnePlus 6 rumor review, so make sure to read since it's updated whenever new information about the flagship surfaces online.

I am. A small company trying to sell high spec'd phone for low cost to collect and sell your data. I think you are not living in the world. Later you will be one among of who will be crying that their data has leaked and yell. Always try to buy genuine, high leveled, and be yourself of what pride you have bought by buying a quality phone. Apples the only one I think which could cope up to such level.

You do realize that collecting and selling data is a trend started by the American companies, as a European citizen I choose Chinese phones over American ones.

I'm not one of you who would buy cheap crap in exchange of data.

I remember with the jelly screen, people were putting #neversettle upside down. That wasn’t clever, either.

I'm just feeling salty as I jumped onto the OP bandwagon for the 5T after being with Xiaomi for 5 years and now it seems I'm gonna have to jump ship again :(
