OnePlus 6 caught in use by the company's own CEO Pete Lau
The OnePlus 6 has appeared in a fresh set of hands-on images. There is still just over a week to go before the official unveiling but, thanks to a new set of photographs, the upcoming flagship appears to have been spotted in what seems to have been a public meeting between OnePlus’ CEO Pete Lau and Indian actor Amitabh Bachchan.

From what can be seen, the company’s CEO appears to have chosen the public meeting to unveil the device to Bachchan, with this encounter subsequently being captured and posted on the actor’s official Twitter account. In the images, both white and black variants of the smartphone are revealed to be in the works, with the glossy finish on the latter model clearly visible. As we zoom into the image, the rear layout of the OnePlus 6 can also be seen in its entirety, confirming previously-leaked renders. This means a vertical dual-camera setup that protrudes slightly from the rear panel is featured. Additionally, a Galaxy S9-like oval fingerprint sensor is present and, below this, the OnePlus logo can be clearly seen. Upon further inspection, the dual-tone LED flash is also visible, although the heart rate sensor that was teased earlier today is nowhere to be seen.

Now, aside from the images, no other information was revealed other than the fact that Bachchan would be attending the Indian unveiling of the device. In any case, regarding internal specifications, consumers can expect Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 on the inside alongside the choice of both 6GB or 8GB of RAM. In the case of the former model, OnePlus is understood to be planning both 64GB and 128GB variants, while the latter RAM count will be accompanied by 256GB of storage. Lastly, on a release note, the device is expected to go on sale shortly after its May 16 unveiling, with prices rumored to start at around $555.
