With activation, the Nokia 9 PureView is cheaper now than on Prime Day
On Amazon Prime Day, the unlocked Nokia 9 PureView was priced at $499 for a $200 or 29% discount. If you missed the sale because you were otherwise occupied, you are getting an even better deal with Best Buy if you purchase the device and activate it on AT&T. Do that, and the phone will cost you $449 for $250 or 36% in savings. Activate it later and the phone can be bought at the Prime Day price of $499. At B&H Photo (via Android Police) the unlocked Nokia 9 PureView is also being sold for $499.

The phone is known for its penta-camera setup. All five 12MP cameras fire at the same time, two of them shooting in color and the remaining three snapping away in monochrome. In front is a 20MP selfie snapper. Other specs include a 6-inch P-OLED display with a 1440 x 2880 resolution. That works out to an aspect ratio of 18:9. Powering the handset is a Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform. The Nokia 9 PureView is equipped with 6GB of memory and 128GB of storage while a 3320mAh battery keeps the lights on. Android 9 Pie is pre-installed.

If you don't mind waiting, HMD Global is reportedly working on the Nokia 9.1 PureView. Now expected out during the fourth quarter of this year, the device is expected to improve the speed at which photos are processed, a point of contention with many owners of the current model. Other improvements are said to be coming for video recording and low-light photography.
