With activation, the Nokia 9 PureView is cheaper now than on Prime Day
On Amazon Prime Day, the unlocked Nokia 9 PureView was priced at $499 for a $200 or 29% discount. If you missed the sale because you were otherwise occupied, you are getting an even better deal with Best Buy if you purchase the device and activate it on AT&T. Do that, and the phone will cost you $449 for $250 or 36% in savings. Activate it later and the phone can be bought at the Prime Day price of $499. At B&H Photo (via Android Police) the unlocked Nokia 9 PureView is also being sold for $499.

The phone is known for its penta-camera setup. All five 12MP cameras fire at the same time, two of them shooting in color and the remaining three snapping away in monochrome. In front is a 20MP selfie snapper. Other specs include a 6-inch P-OLED display with a 1440 x 2880 resolution. That works out to an aspect ratio of 18:9. Powering the handset is a Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform. The Nokia 9 PureView is equipped with 6GB of memory and 128GB of storage while a 3320mAh battery keeps the lights on. Android 9 Pie is pre-installed.

If you don't mind waiting, HMD Global is reportedly working on the Nokia 9.1 PureView. Now expected out during the fourth quarter of this year, the device is expected to improve the speed at which photos are processed, a point of contention with many owners of the current model. Other improvements are said to be coming for video recording and low-light photography.

I agree. It definitely should be on sale since it has been a major disappointment so far. Definitely not talking about the Essential phone.

There are plenty of reviewers and users that would disagree with you about both, especially me.

Well you're not exactly credible nor reliable, so that doesn't really say anything at all whatsoever.

You’re not exactly credible or reliable yourself, so what you have to say isn’t really saying anything as well,

Great price for a very underrated smartphone. The best Nokia branded smartphone on the market today.

Not sadly, I do not share your belief, having used this phone extensively as my daily driver. Still do, too.

You could say objectivity is not often seen in owners.

You can say the same about haters, and about people with no long term experience with said products.

Acceptance is a form of coping with a disappointement. Or you know simply the lack of experience with other devices. I don't hate, I don't like everyone and everything equaly.

Hard to say it’s a “disappointment” when you haven’t used it extensively and continuously. It’s called making an “educated statement” based on experience, of which you are not.

I agree. The phone isn't underrated at all. It's a massive disappointment that failed to live up to expectations despite what some overzealous fanboy claims.

It’s extremely underrated, and far from a “massive disappointment”, unlike the Essential Phone and Googles QC for Pixels, despite what overzealous trolls that have never used it claim.

It's definitely not underrated that's for sure. Now the Essential phone, that is underrated. This phone could have been much more than what it is and it's only the overzealous fanboy that raves about the Pureview despite the lukewarm feedback from more credible sources.

The Nokia 9 Pureview is extremely underrated, and more so than the Essential Phone. And one can’t talk about something being much more than it is when you’re a Pixel fan, what with Pixels consistently having the same issues from generation to generation, along with new ones. It’s only the overzealous fanboys that rave about the Pixels, despite the plethora of issues they have, as documented from more credible sources.

Didn't do your research I see. Phone is $499 or $449 with ATT, but the activation fee is $45, and unavoidable. So to save $6, activate a new line with ATT, or just pay $6 more and not have to deal with ATT. So close PA, so close...
