Nokia 8110 4G pre-orders go live across Europe, release set for July 4
In addition to launching a number of Android-powered smartphones, HMD Global has also hoped to capitalize on the Nokia name by reintroducing certain iconic devices. Last year, the Finnish brand reintroduced the popular Nokia 3310 and this year at MWC, HMD Global unveiled a 2018 edition Nokia 8110 4G, which has finally gone up for pre-order across various European markets.

Currently, the smartphone is being offered for just over £78 via Amazon UK, while those living in certain parts of continental Europe can get their hands on the smartphone for around €90 in either black or yellow. Customers in France, Germany, Italy, and Spain can all pre-order the feature phone via Amazon, while Dutch consumers can get their hands on it through popular retailer MediaMarkt. At this point in time, the Nokia 8110 4G is only available in these countries, but a wider pre-order release is expected to happen over the course of June. After all, shipments of the Nokia-branded device do not begin until July 4.

For those interested in the unique-looking device, it features a small 2.45-inch display and runs KaiOS straight out of the box. On the power front, it actually features a dual-core Qualcomm processor in the form of the Snapdragon 205 chipset clocked at 1.1GHz, while a 1500mAh battery is included. For reference, Apple’s iPhone 8 boasts a marginally bigger 1821mAh unit. However, unlike Apple’s offering, the Nokia 8110 will be capable of achieving up to 25 days of standby time.

For consumers over in the US, previous information claimed the Nokia 8110 would also be receiving a release in Q2 2018. However, with just one month left, a release in the market is looking extremely unlikely at this moment in time, at least for now anyway.
