In its quest to better assist drivers everywhere, the Navigon app for iOS has been updated recently to bring additional new features to the popular turn-by-turn navigation app. Specifically, version 2.1 of Navigon for iOS bring forth Google Street View, Navigon Cockpit, manual route blocking, and other performance enhancements.

Of all the new features with the update, Google Street View is seemingly the most prized item on the list, seeing that users will now be able to better visualize their destinations – giving them a good look as they’re approaching their end point. Secondly, there’s a new Navigon Cockpit interface that provides relevant driving data such as gForce, speed, horizontal & vertical position, and an adjustable speed & altitude graph. Furthermore, users now have the option to manually block routes on a map, thus, giving them alternative options in reaching destinations. Lastly, Navigon has improved the start-up time and map rendering performance to better enhance the app’s overall experience.
