Jon Rubinstein tells audience at Web 2.0 Summit that Palm has great products coming
With the Web 2.0 Summit still going on in San Francisco, it was time for Jon Rubinstein to discuss what was happening with Palm. Yes, the Palm Pre 2 with webOS 2.0 will soon be launched on Verizon. But hopes are high that after the merger with Hewlett Packard, Palm will be offering the highly regarded webOS software in hardware that is a major improvement from the Palm Pre and Palm Pixi.

To that end, Rubinstein  was asked if Palm has a hit like the Treo, the Apple iPhone or the Motorola DROID coming. The executive replied that he has some great products, great smartphones and great tablets in the works. He is looking forward to what he says are, "several products that will clearly be hits when they come out." As for when we might see some of these new devices, he says that Palm will be rolling out these products aggressively. "Stay tuned," said Rubinstein, "We've got some great things coming".
