In the public EYE: HTC One (E8) EYE caught in the wild
Shortly after it unveiled the HTC Desire EYE, the RE camera, and the EYE Experience camera software, HTC also released a version of its HTC One (M8) flagship in select markets that flaunted a 13MP Duo camera at the back instead of the 4MP UltraPixel one that we were wont to. Apart from the apparent (and needed) bump in the megapixel count, the device was also adorned with the EYE Experience camera software out of the box. Well, all signs point that HTC One (M8)'s cheaper and mostly plastic sibling, the HTC One (E8), might also get receive the EYE treatment.

That's right, an HTC One (E8) EYE has been caught in the wild while making the transition to India for field-testing. It got caught on Zauba, an import/export tracking website for India, in which the HTC One (E8) EYE is priced at INR 27,275 (about $445) and comes in two colors, silver and gray. This is a slightly lower price than the one HTC asks for the HTC One (E8) in the moment ($520), but this doesn't mean that the refreshed EYE variation of the device will be eventually priced that low.

We don't expect the One (E8) EYE to sport any other substantial differences apart from the presence of the novel EYE Experience camera features. We are talking about Split Capture, Crop-Me-In, the ability to keep up to 4 people in focus, etc.
