Be it trying to send a unit via courier, taking the handset to the service, filling out warranty papers, or recognizing a stolen phone by its number, this sequence of digits will inevitably rear its head sometime. And if you happen to be the type of user who doesn't obsess over technology, the question of "how do I find this IMEI number thing" may pose a challenge.
