HTC Windows Phone 8X hits Verizon unlocked; device will work on T-Mobile
The version of the HTC Windows Phone 8X currently offered online and in the stores by Verizon comes unlocked. Insert a T-Mobile micro-SIM card and the handset will work on the "modernized" 1900MHz spectrum belonging to T-Mobile. The device connects to T-Mobile's HSPA+ network providing the user with 3G speeds.  Since both carriers offer the phone, you might not think there would be any reason to buy the phone from Verizon if you are a T-Mobile customer, but the Verizon edition of the HTC Windows Phone 8X comes with wireless charging.

Will Verizon close this loophole? It is unknown at this point. Assuming that this window gets shut at some point, and wireless charging is something that you have been wanting, you might want to take advantage of this opening. Just make sure that you are near some of that T-Mobile re-farmed 1900MHz spectrum.

not everyone knows about the camer on the 920, some see it as just another device so there will be those who go HTC too. besides the 920 might not be the best for some people

The Lumia isn't the end all be all of phones. According to most reviews the earpiece volume is average as is call quality. Still photos are not that far beyond what HTC 8X is offering and battery life is not that much more despite being thicker and wider. I got to play with both the 920 and 8X and prefer the 8X a bit more, though it felt kinda slippery in hand but nothing too bad. Hopefully more apps will be available for WP8 as a lot of the ones I currently use on Android have no equivelant on WP. Fanboys on all sides are getting annoying.

I have a upgrade from Verizon right now . i will take a look at this and use my T-mobile service. i just keep Verizon just in case there is a good phone to stay whit them. the note 2 is a great option but those $300 put me down
