HTC U11 size comparison versus the Galaxy S8, S8+, LG G6, iPhone 7, OnePlus 3T, and Sony XZ Premium

HTC just unveiled its flagship for 2017, the HTC U11, a phone that's just begging to be squeezed!

With a Snapdragon 835 on deck, joined by 4GB of RAM, some 64GB of storage, and donning a 5.5" Quad HD display up front, the HTC U11 has that high-end hardware that constitutes it as a true flagship that doesn't skimp in any area. The 12MP UltraPixel camera package also seems rather promising, but we will have to play with it for a while before we can drop a verdict.

So far, so good, but how does the flagship stack up against the bezel-busting competition in the face of the Galaxy S8/S8+ and the LG G6, which are both pushing the boundaries as far as efficient industrial design goes? Spoiler alert - not so good. Look elsewhere if you are looking for a phone with a high screen-to-body ratio. Here's how the new HTC flagship fares against its most important rivals:

Sadly, I agree. I was hoping for a killer phone, as the M7/M8 were amazing, but aesthetically speaking, I feel this phone is a big let down. I know it's a personal thing, but I really don't like the glossy plastic, with the small camera lense, the giant bezels, the boring curves, nothing about this phone really speaks to me. The specs are top notch, but so is every other flagship out right now. I hope I'm wrong for HTC's sake, but I feel this phone will be forgotten and overlooked.

If you ask me it's a pretty good size for a 5.5 inch device. Yesterday I got a chance to test GS8 and frankly speaking I didn't like it at all. I have big hands and it felt like a toy, too narrow and uncomfortable to hold. But on the other hand GS8+ was just right for me

That home button is placed so low on the bezel for some reason, that looks pretty bad.

to not accidentally touch the screen. I'm using Huawei P10 now and this is the case. Too bad it's not aesthetically pleasing.

The home button really bothers me, I like it centered and uniformed, which is enough for me to dislike the device... Everything else looks great though.
