HTC HD2 gets a new update for CoPilot Live 8
Those who decided to not wait and purchased the European version of the HTC HD2 were treated to a free 15 day trial of CoPilot Live 8. Luckily for those same owners, there is now a new update released for the HTC HD2 that'll add some additional depth to the popular navigational software. The free CoPilot Live 8 update features an integrated Live Local Search, improved timing of turn instructions, optional Premium Live Services, and optional Text-to-Speech voice directions. The Live Local Search is your typical point of interest search that enables users to locate the nearest product, service, brand, or shop around their location. The optional Premium Services will cost £19.99 and offers real-time traffic and fuel prices directly on the handset – so you can avoid those congested areas and save some cash for gas at the same time. So if you've been holding onto your HTC HD2 and rely on CoPilot Live 8 a lot, then you can take advantage of the new features seen in the update.
