HMD announces it will soon release Android 8.0 Oreo for Nokia 8

We already know HMD plans to update all its Nokia smartphone to Android 8.0 Oreo since the Finnish company confirmed it numerous times in the past. The only thing that we need to determine is when exactly it will happen.

It goes without saying that HMD will not release the update to all its Nokia smartphones at the same time. Also, it would make sense for the most powerful device to get Oreo first, in this case, Nokia 8.

So, if you own the Nokia 8, you should ready your phone for a major Android update. HMD's Chief Product Office, Juho Sarvikas confirmed that after a short beta testing, Nokia 8 will soon receive the highly-anticipated Android 8.0 Oreo update.

Nokia 7, 6, 3 and 2 will be the next smartphones to receive the Oreo update, but not necessarily in that order. HMD will be quite busy in the next couple of months.
