Get the most out of your Galaxy S8 with tips and tricks from Samsung

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+  are some of the most popular handsets of 2017 and with good reason. Apart from their stunning looks and powerful specs, the two flagships also feature a custom user interface on top of Android Nougat that is designed to make the most of the bezel-less curved displays while keeping things clean and organized.

The UX (user experience) of the S8 is labeled as convenient and intuitive by Samsung, but let's be honest, the sheer quantity of functions present on any modern smartphone can be a bit overwhelming. It looks like the Korean tech giant is aware of this fact, as it recently released its very own list of tips and tricks for its high-end handsets.

The list contains instructions on how to use some of the key functionalities of the flagship duo, such as the navigation bar, Edge Screen, power button and fingerprint reader shortcuts, split-screen multitasking, and more.

You can check out the complete list in the source link below. If you want to dive even deeper and learn more tips and tricks for the Galaxy S8 and S8+, feel free to give our own articles a look, which are also available in video.

"but let's be honest, the sheer quantity of functions present on any modern smartphone can be a bit overwhelming." Overwhelming? Maybe to those who are still new to the Android and/or Samsung phones... I have no issue understanding and handling all of the sheer quantity of features Samsung provides.

That's because you're "tech savvy!" Now pat yourself on the back, and put your Ph.D from MIT, Dartmouth, Stanford, Brown, Yale, Harvard, Cornell, University of Pennsylvania or whichever illustrious school(s) you attended to good work solving more pressing problems.

Slick ass cool features, that make the phone a joy to use. This is what's needed in today's smart phones. I can't see not having split screen, floating windows, symbols on the keyboard, etc nowadays. Toss in edge panels, secure folder, and iris scanning, and all is good.

Nova Launcher. Animation Tweaks in Developer Settings (worked for me)

First, there is very little lag. Second, go in dev settings and remove all animations - those fancy animations are also responsible for false sense of smoothness on iOS.

Wow, from here I can taste your salty tears as you bang out your reply on your S8's keyboard!

Talhamid. You're right, I get lag here and there on my iPhone 7 Plus. It's also a very light OS, and no skin, so it shouldn't lag it all. Everything is static on it, so the lag it does get, shouldn't be there. The S8 Plus is a joy to use.

You no longer matter, you're the site jester now. We simply look for you to post dumb stuff, (along with Mxyflashmite).

I'd say you're definitely in second place for the site jester position, since you cater your comments to illicit the maximum number of +1's from the Samsung fanboys. Oh that's right, stupid me forgot you're "team tech" and have no allegiance to any manufacturer.

Thank you for proving that I'm right. Liying only to prove that Samsung S8 is not the only lagging phone is what you are doing. So, a Techie student.
