Gboard 6.5 coming soon with Bitmoji and sticker integration

0
Google is about to bring a couple of new features and lots of tweaks to Gboard for Android. For the time being, these upcoming features are only available in the beta version of Gboard, so if you've already enrolled in the testing channel, then you should be getting them already.

However, for those waiting for Gboard 6.5, here is what you'll receive in the next update if nothing wrong happens during beta testing. First off, there's Bitmoji support, so if you have the app, you will now be able to use it with Gboard.

Next in line, sticker integration allows for better access to stickers download with various apps like Google Allo or even Bitmoji. The former doesn't work yet, but Google is likely to enable it in the final version of Gboard.

The new sticker tab added to Gboard can be found by heading to the top button bar or overflow menu. You can install as many sticker packs you want via Google Play Store or the Bitmoji app.

Finally, Themes in Settings received some tweaks and looks slightly different, whereas Add-on dictionaries have been removed from the Dictionary pane. Gboard 6.5 for Android is already available for download in the beta channel and is expected to be released to the general public soon.
