The Apple Watch is slowly, but steadily building momentum: analytics firm IDC published a speculative report last week suggesting that the Apple wearable has lost momentum, but chief executive Tim Cook swiftly refuted such speculation and said that the watch had its best week last week.
One thing is clear: in a world of wearables, Apple has captured the majority of profits and it's managed to improve a slow and somewhat clunky Apple Watch significantly in the past year or so.
Of course, many are still complaining about the lack of a round watch from Apple (the company is rumored to consider such an option) and about the way-too-small app 'honeycomb' grid. It's worth noting that Samsung has really upped its design game and its most recent Gear S3 smartwatch is an extremely good looking timepiece for those who prefer classic watch looks.
