The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact may be small in stature, but it does come with high-end specs. For example, the handset is powered by Qualcomm's latest and greatest Mobile Platform, the Snapdragon 845. The 5-inch LCD screen carries a 1080 x 2160 resolution for an 18:9 aspect ratio. 4GB of RAM is inside along with 64GB of native storage (48GB available to the user). A 400MB capacity microSD slot is included for those seeking additional storage.

A 19MP Motion Eye camera adorns the back, with a 5MP selfie snapper in front. Don't forget that the phone offers 960fps super slow-motion video. Keeping the lights on is a 2870mAh battery. The phone carries an IP68 certification rating allowing it to be submerged in water as deep as nearly 5-feet, for as long as 30-minutes. Android 8.0 Oreo is pre-installed.

Amazon is currently selling the unlocked version of the phone for $499.99. That is a $150 or 23% discount from Amazon's usual price. This particular model supports Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile among the major U.S. carriers. Color options are Black, Coral Pink, Moss Green and White Silver.
