Deal: Google Store discounting Chromecast to $25; 3 free months of HBO Now for all models
For a lot of people, Black Friday is the best time to buy big, expensive gifts. Smartphones, TVs, laptops, and more seem to be at the top of many people's shopping list, but Black Friday is also a great time to buy smaller, less expensive gadgets. Those bigger ticket items may look great when they're all wrapped up under the tree, but ensuring you've got excellent stocking-stuffers is just as important. The Google Store is currently offering a pretty solid deal for both the Chromecast and Chromecast Ultra, and if you're looking to get yourself or someone else one of the best devices for streaming YouTube and Netflix to your TV, this just might be the deal for you.

We've already seen Target and Staples offer the Chromecast for $25 ($10 off of its normal price), and now The Google Store is offering the same discount as well. You can currently grab the Chromecast at its discounted price from the Google Store through Monday, November 28, but that isn't the only deal that the Google Store is currently touting with its Chromecast line.

Purchasing either a Chromecast or Chromecast Ultra from the Google Store will allow you to score 3 free months of HBO Now if you're a new subscriber to the streaming service. HBO Now already offers a standard 1-month free trial of the service for new members, so you're technically getting an extra 2-month trail on top of that. However, with HBO Now costing $14.99/month, the savings you get there more than pays for a Chromecast at $25. That deal is available from now through Saturday, December 24, and the free trial code that you'll receive must be entered by Sunday, January 8, 2017.

The Chromecast and Chromecast Ultra may not be the most poweful or versatile streaming solutions out there, but the features they offer at their price points is absolutely incredible. Plus, when you factor in a $10 discount on the normal Chromecast and 3 free months of Game of Thrones. Westerwolrd, and tons of new movies for 3 whole months, you really can't ask for a better deal.

I don't care about HBO GO, but $25 for the Chromecast is a good deal.

Well, they do have a few good shows.... I'm not overly familiar with their streaming service, how many movies do they offer and how frequent do they change them? It better be comparable to Netflix at that cost.
