Every gadget will eventually drop price just when and by how much? Agree with you as well that Google is becoming more and more like Samsung and Apple. Product profit driven rather than Ads.

The price drop will come around the time the next iteration of the Pixel is released.

How about making a XL plus that has a 6" to 6.44" screen?

Because they like to make phones people will actually buy. The nexus 6 was a flop. You expect them to make the same mistake again? Did you buy a nexus 6?

I did. It's still the only phone that just stopped working.

What good is the great price when there are no 128GB XLs in any Verizon store that I can find? Online delivery is still 01/06/17.

Price is worth the wait. I'd pay now for a 5 week delivery time frame. It's not like anything newer, much less better will be out then.
