Dating app Tinder introduces Smart Photos feature to help you gain more likes
Today, popular dating app Tinder is adding a new algorithm designed to maximize your match potential. The feature is called Smart Photos and it works by alternating the photo of you first seen by other Tinder users and gauging the response to it as they swipe your profile left (to dismiss) or right (to like).
Learning like this, Tinder will re-order your photos to show your most liked ones first. Reportedly, users saw up to a 12% increase in matches during testing as the Smart Photos algorithm continuously tests photos for their success rate. This way, you'll learn in which photos you look your best, and you might be in for a surprising revelation.
