Clove confirms Samsung Galaxy S III launch delay in U.K.
Rumors of a delay in the U.K. launch of the Samsung Galaxy S III were confirmed on Monday by online retailer Clove. On its web site, Clove posted that the white version of the Samsung Galaxy S III will begin shipping on June 1st instead of May 29th. The blue model of the handset will arrive on the week of June 5th, but Clove said that the new launch date for the blue model has not yet been confirmed.

There was no word on whether or not the delay in the pebble blue Samsung Galaxy S III was due to the rumored problem with the battery cover on the phone which allegedly caused Samsung to destroy 600,000 covers. There has been no official comment about the delay from Samsung, so we don't know yet if it is going to affect the U.S. launch of the device.
