Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls gets a soft launch on Android and iOS
The Castlevania franchise won't continue on PC or consoles, as we reported less than a week ago. Grimoire of Souls, the next installment in the Castlevania series will be released on Android and iOS devices. The game was showcased this month at Tokyo Game Show and we thought that it will take some time before mobile gamers will be able to play.
It turns out that we were wrong and that many Android and iOS users can already download the game. Konami announced recently the Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls is currently in soft launch in Canada on the App Store and Google Play.
Grimoire of Souls promised gorgeous visuals and access to iconic characters like Shanoa, Alucard, Maria, and others spanning across the Castlevania series. The game also features a multiplayer/co-op mode, which lets players fight alongside their friends to defeat as many enemies as possible within the time limit.
No release date is available for Grimoire of Souls, but judging by how fast Konami is moving from one development stage to another, it might be ready early next year.
