Bolle BP-10 brings docked iPhone photo printing, but AirPrint is on its way
The iPhone 4 has been around for a while now (in terms of electronics), but this is the first dedicated photo printer dock that we've seen. The Bolle BP-10 prints 4-inch by 6-inch photos direct from your iPhone 4. It is operated via the Bolle Photo app, which also allows you to print multiple photos on a single sheet.

While this sounds like a great gadget, and a superb holiday gift, it seems strange to release it with Apple's AirPrint around the corner. AirPrint will allow all iOS 4.2 devices to wirelessly print on compatible printers. That makes this basic docking station look a little dated. Especially when the BP-10 costs a steep US$192, we aren't particularly tempted.

Then again, the BP-10 might be relevant to the half-savvy crowd of iPhone users. Yes, you were hip enough to buy an iPhone and use the occasional app, but you aren't about to set up a wireless printer and connect it to your phone. In that case, the BP-10 offers a simple photo printing solution without all the hassle of a wireless printer. It is also far more portable, should you want to print photos while away from your home office.
