Save 35% on the Pixel 2 XL from Best Buy when financed through Verizon's Device Payment plan
On October 9th, Google is going to hold an event during which we will find out whether the search giant has punk'd us as some conspiracy theorists believe. This group says that Google has asked for all YouTube clips showing images of the notched Pixel 3 XL because they are going to show them at the #MadebyGoogle event as a joke. Those who believe this theory say that the real Pixel 3 XL won't contain a notch. Of course, what is missing from this equation is the point that Android 9 now has support for a "display cutout."

Forgetting that Google would most likely not resort to such an elaborate hoax (which would include allowing fake units to be stolen and sold in the Ukrainian black market), the point here is that with the latest Pixel models coming, retailers and carriers are looking to get rid of their inventories of the second-generation Pixels. So once again, Best Buy is running a very tasty sale on the 64GB Google Pixel 2 XL for Verizon subscribers.

To save $300 on the Pixel 2 XL, all you have to do to is purchase the device from the big box retailer and finance it for 24 months using Verizon's Device Payment plan. You'll be making 24 monthly payments of $22.91, a 35% discount from the regular monthly price of $35.41. After all the payments have been made, the phone will have cost you $549.84.

We could see discounts on the Pixel 2 XL get a little deeper the closer we get to October 9th. But no one will blame you if you can't wait and decide to take advantage of this deal. If interested, click on the sourcelink below.
