Cyber Monday phone deals 2025: standout offers of the event

Cyber Monday, the event that follows Black Friday Week, has already wrapped up. In case you missed it, it went live on December 1 this year, officially continuing for 24 hours at Amazon and other major sellers. However, many of my favorite phone deals remained live for a while after the event.

If you got the chance to upgrade your Android (or iOS) game during Cyber Monday — congratulations! There were some truly epic deals to consider. And if you missed out, you might be curious to see which devices went on sale this December and how much you could have saved.

Some of the latest and most powerful Samsung phones got big discounts this year. Cyber Monday went live with a huge $175 price cut on the Galaxy S25 FE, while the "vanilla" S25 was $125 cheaper during the sale. Another favorite bargain of mine allowed users to save $268 on the Galaxy Z Flip 7. 

What about the brand's book-like foldable? It was down $459 at Amazon in select colors. Those seeking a more affordable Galaxy foldable could save $310 on the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE at Walmart. Another great discount, this time at Amazon, slashed $490 off the Galaxy Z Flip 6.

Like every other major shopping event, Motorola phones received some pretty hefty price cuts on Cyber Monday. For example, the Razr+ (2024) was $400 off, while the newer model was $350 cheaper. The Razr Ultra (2025), as the most expensive device, was also the one receiving the biggest price cut. You could get it with a massive $500 discount. To sweeten the pot, Motorola threw in a free pair of the Moto Buds+, saving you an extra $199.99. 

I've also found a $110 price cut on the Moto G Power (2025) and a $115 discount on the Moto G Stylus (2025). The Moto G Power 5G (2024) was just as tempting, as it dropped by 59% during the event. All Moto G offers were locked to Prime members, and they expired after December 1.

While I'm used to seeing huge price cuts on Samsung and Motorola phones during Cyber Monday, I really didn't expect the deals I came across on Pixel devices. This December 1, you could snatch the Pixel 10 Pro Fold for $400 off, or grab the Pixel 9 Pro XL with a huge $400 price cut. 

Although Black Friday knocked the Pixel 9a down by 30%, the device was $100 off during Cyber Monday. The Google Pixel 9 Pro and 10 Pro were on sale as well. On December 1, the newer compact flagship got down by $350, while the Pixel 9 Pro got cheaper by $300.

Like every shopping season, deals on Apple iPhones aren't as many as Android options. Still, you could grab big discounts on the latest iPhones at Verizon. For example, the iPhone 17 Pro Max was down to $0.00/mo with new line activation on an Unlimited plan. 

I've also discovered a great $100 price cut on the iPhone 16 Pro at Walmart. The promo was for a brand-new device, which was locked to Straight Talk. Other deals included an iPhone 14 Pro for only $379 in renewed condition at Walmart.

Other highlight offer deals this Cyber Monday included $200 off the OnePlus 13 and a $50 discount on the 13R. These ended quite quickly after December 1, though. The Nothing Phone (3) was $160 off as well, and just like the OnePlus phones, Amazon ended the sale after the event wrapped up.

Which retailers launch the best Cyber Monday phone deals?

In short, all of them! From official stores like OnePlus, Motorola, and Samsung to the major US carriers and the largest online merchants like Best Buy, Amazon, and Walmart, discounts on hot phones are virtually everywhere!

Are phones on Cyber Monday sold unlocked?

Yes, the majority of the phone deals are for unlocked phones, especially at Amazon. However, Best Buy and carriers also have Cyber Monday offers, and some of these are tied to a carrier contract. You should be able to get almost any phone unlocked with deals from Amazon or Best Buy, but do keep in mind to double-check the deal before you pull the trigger.

Is Cyber Monday a good time to get a new phone?

Yes, definitely! Cyber Monday deals at Best Buy and Amazon, especially, are rocking, and such discounts are not available outside these sales. Even carriers have better deals during shopping events, including Cyber Monday.

Then again, don't forget that the event prior to Cyber Monday, Black Friday, typically unfolds better discounts than Cyber Monday itself. But if you can't find the phone you want to get at a lower price during Black Friday, you can expect it to be discounted on Cyber Monday.
