Apple's WWDC app now updated, adds video support
With WWDC about to kick off on Monday at Moscone West in San Francisco, Apple has updated the recently released WWDC app to tweak it before the festivities begin. WWDC for iOS is now updated to version 1.0.1 which includes a feature that will allow videos streaming over AirPlay to continue after an interruption. Whether you receive a call, or your phone just locks, the video will resume from where you left off.  Favorites in Events are now scheduled until 11pm and a bug fix was included to take care of a problem that shut video volume off automatically when you lowered the ringer volume on your phone.

The update also eliminates duplicate headers in the video list, prevents the navigation bar in Events from disappearing and corrects the problem that led to blurry text in session details. Version information has been added to improve bug reports. The app is available for free from the Apple App Store.

Like the app provided every year by Google for Google I/O, the WWDC app is made for both those attending and those watching at home. Streaming video allows registered Apple developers to view key sessions at home while those attending will be helped out by maps of the Moscone Center and other features.
