Lo and behold, the long-rumored large, professional tablet from Apple has finally become a reality. With the 12.9" iPad Pro, Apple stems to fight the tablet sales slump, and combat the slew of thin and light touchscreen convertibles that will flood the market this holiday season thanks to Intel introducing a fanless processor line that allowed for some incredible designs from OEM manufacturers, and battery life as long as the iOS and Android slates offer.
Will it succeed? Well, the iPad Pro has a breathtaking display resolution, and split-screen multitasking, plus the keyboard and Pencil stylus accessories to make it a formidable workhorse or designer machine, so we'll see how the sales pan out when the the iPad Pro is released some time in November.
These sales will, as usual, depend heavily on the price tag, and here is how Apple decided to price its largest tablet ever:
Apple iPad Pro Wi-Fi model: 32GB/128GB - $799/$949
Apple iPad Pro Wi-Fi + LTE model: 128GB - $1079
