Angry Birds AR: Isle of Pigs slingshots onto Android
Previously released on iOS, Angry Birds AR: Isle of Pigs is now making its way to Android devices. The game is available starting today in the Google Play Store and while it doesn't cost a dime, it does offer in-app purchases.
At launch, the augmented reality game includes 78 levels of gameplay, which allows players, through the power of AR, to physically walk around structures overlaid onto objects in their own environment to find weak elements and identify different angles for the best accuracy.
The game features some hidden surprises that let players earn more points and unlock more content when discovered. Another interesting aspect about Angry Birds AR: Isle of Pigs is that players can make it large or small to fit their space and customize their experience.
The gameplay is reminiscent of all previous Angry Birds titles, as players must destroy structures in the most spectacular way to earn maximum stars and retrieve the eggs stolen by the pigs.
Apart from offering in-app purchases, Angry Birds AR: Isle of Pigs may include direct links to social networking websites or direct links to the internet that can take players away from the game. Also, advertising of Rovio products and products from select partners may be included too.
