Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow is rolling out for the Xperia M4 Aqua and the Xperia M5
Sony Mobile has today released Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow for the Xperia M4 Aqua and the Xperia X5. The roll-out began first for the M4 Aqua and its dual SIM variant – the M4 Aqua Dual. Both M4 variants have received Android 6.0.1 with build number 26.3.A.0.131 in select regions.

The latest Android build has also arrived on the Xperia M5 – albeit available only on the E5603 variant for the time being – with other M5 versions and the M5 Dual expected to receive the same treatment shortly.

Sony promises new features, additional functionality and a better user experience after the update – in other words, what is to be expected from such an update – while a spreadsheet posted on Canadian wireless provider Rogers' community forum lists “bug fixes and Google Security Updates.”
