Android 5.0 Lollipop update for "most" Nexus devices officially rolls out starting today

Google just announced that an official Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Nexus series started today, with “most Nexus devices” expected to get it “soon.” The Nexus 5, Nexus 4, Nexus 7 (2013), Nexus 7 (2012) and Nexus 10 will all be updated to Lollipop, though not every user will be lucky enough to receive the update today. It might even take more than a few days before everyone gets it, but one thing is clear: Android 5.0 Lollipop is finally rolling out, over the air, to the Nexus family.

Earlier today, Motorola also started rolling out Lollipop to Moto G users, with the Moto X certainly also getting the update really soon. LG’s G3 is another handset that should start receiving the latest version of Android at about this time.

In case you didn’t already do it, you can check out our Android 5.0 Lollipop review, plus our Nexus 9 review and Nexus 6 review (since both the Nexus 9 and Nexus 6 run Lollipop).

Have you received the Lollipop update yet? Let us know in the comments when you do!
