Affordable LG K20 goes official: Android Go Pie Edition, FullVision display, selfie flash
LG refreshes its affordable K series lineup with a brand new handset that's just as cheap as the predecessors – the K20. Many of you probably forgot that an LG K20 was released two years ago, but the new one comes with a couple of improvements.

Still, don't get your hopes too high, the LG K20 remains a budget-friendly smartphone that offers the basic features you would expect from a smartphone. For example, the phone is equipped with a low-end 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor, and packs just 1GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage inside.

On the bright side, the phone sports a decent 5.45-inch FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The 5-megapixel selfie camera features a flash that lets users take better portraits in low-light conditions. There's also an 8-megapixel main camera on the back, that has become the norm for entry-level phones these days.

Surprisingly, LG claims the K20 has MIL-STD-810G certification for military-grade durability. The K20 is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery and ships with Android Go Pie Edition right out of the box.

The new LG K20 is now available for purchase in the UK and other European countries for €100 and comes in two colors: Aurora Black and Moroccan Blue. No word yet on whether or not it will be released in the US.
