6.6-inch honor V8 Max certified by TENAA with 1440 x 2560 QHD screen and 4400mAh juicer
Chinese regulatory agency TENAA has certified a new handset from honor. The EDI-DL00 is expected to be named the V8 Max. The device will carry a massive 6.6-inch AMOLED display, with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. The V8 Max is driven by the home grown Kirin 950 chipset, which means that the phone will be equipped with an octa-core 2.3GHz CPU and the Mali-T880 GPU. 3GB of RAM is inside along with 32GB of expandable native storage. A 128GB capacity microSD slot is available for those seeking additional storage.

A 13MP camera adorns the back of the unit, with an 8MP camera in front to shoot selfies and handle video chat. The honor V8 Max supports dual SIM dual standby and VoLTE. A 4400mAh battery provides the power. We could see a 9V/2A power adapter come out of the box, offering fast charging of the cell. A fingerprint sensor is on board, and buyers will chose between Gold and Silver color options. Android 6.0 is pre-installed with EMIU 4.1 running on top.

The phone is rather thin at 7.18mm, but it is no lightweight at 219 grams. The honor V8 Max could be officially introduced during Huawei's July 11th event.
