Variant of Xiaomi Redmi 4 with 2GB of RAM hits Geekbench?
A mystery handset from Xiaomi has been benchmarked by Geekbench. The device is code named the Xiaomi Mido and we can see that the Snapdragon 625 chipset is under the hood carrying an octa-core 2.02GHz CPU. 2GB of RAM is inside, and Android 6.0.1 is pre-installed. While not listed on Geekbench, the Snapdragon 625 SoC features the Adreno 506 GPU.

This phone could very well be the version of the Xiaomi Redmi 4 that comes with 2GB of RAM. This model is expected to have 16GB of native storage inside. Another variant of the phone should feature 3GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage. The latter version of the phone appeared on a Geekbench run through that we told you about earlier this month. Both variants are said to feature a 5-inch screen.

So let's assume that the Xiaomi Mido is the 2GB variant of the Redmi 4. The phone was run through Geekbench twice and had single-core scores of 842, 806 and multi-core score of 3608, 3763. The version with 3GB of RAM had a single-core score of 929 and a multi-core score of 4751.
