Very durable phone

Oh i have had the Avid and i can say its one of the most durable phones of ZTE. The first 4g phone and brilliant specs that were put in this phone. I had it for more than 5 months and gave it away but i have to say its a good phone not fancy but surely durable.

"The call quality is excellent- the ringer volume is fine- same as any other phone. The Ice Cream Sandwich is neat- the unlimited data text and talk -and 4G- are a blast! Unlimited! Good speeds on data 2-6 megs down in Philadelphia. The phone is slimmer than pictures of it show... the camera quality is great for 5MP and the front facing cam- is nice for video chats! The phone comes with some metro bloat- but many of the apps were really useful- and there were many...
The screen is bright when playing movies and to be honest my family members like ROOTING the Androids- but I can't imagine needing root on this phone because it has everything I can imagine using- already... the only apps I have added were games.
This phone has a dual core 1.2gig 2gigs internal mem- microsd card slot (empty)....its fast and screen is sensitive and responsive.
It costs 149.00 off contract...so that is amazing...
This phone is pretty nice for the price and 4G and a decent camera with a ""flashlight"" is something I needed.
The phone is slippery- so you need a case for it most likely.
I love it. 4G Ice Cream Sandwich -fast web unlimited talk text and data...
Better than iPhone 5- (which is what I just got rid of.)... I love it!"

Best manufactured phone by ZTE!!!!!!!!

This is one of the amazing ZTE manufactured device with latest OS which is Ice Cream Sandwich. It is super speedy because it has Android power and a 1.5 GHZ dual-core processor. The Boost Force's functionality is complemented by a vibrant 4-inch touch screen. It has got 5MP rear-facing camera or take self-portraits with the 1 MP front-facing camera. It even connects to any local Wi-Fi for for faster browsing. The amazing part of this phone is it has got 1GB RAM and 4GB ROM. So, there is no requirement of any external SD card to be inserted.

I purchased the ZTE Avid 4G as a new customer with metroPCS and the phone has been more than I could have hoped for. I was not willing to settle for less than Android ICS, which this phone provides. I've downloaded all my favorite apps and the new phone is performing flawlessly. In comparing 4G LTE download speeds, the ZTE Avid 4G on the metroPCS network has been, without fail, nearly twice as fast as my company-provided Motorola DROID RAZR. I would highly recommend both metroPCS and the ZTE Avid 4G smartphone to all my family and friends.

Good processor.Quick Speed.Ice Cream Sandwich. $149 (need I say more?). Only flaws I've had with it is the touchscreen is unresponsive if your fingers are cold? And the screen did go all wonkey-shakey happy-skip-bop this morning. Over-all, not bad.

Build quality 8/10 Screen could be better.

This is the best phone I ever had with me.....beautiful looks with latest android version which is Icecream Sandwich, It is 4.88 x 2.58 x 0.47 inches (124 x 66 x 12 mm) and the camera with 5 megapixels and has an awesome LED flash...It is worth phone for the market price...
