Stay away. Many Issues, bad advertising, Terrible Customer Services

I was really looking forward to the Gamepad.
Was severely disappointed when I found, all the games I'd previously played/liked seemed to be "unavailable" on the tablet from the playstore.
I was able to look over this and even the terrible battery life.
Then there was the freezing issue. I should've sent it back within the first week of getting. Archos has me running around hoops trying to get them to fix the tablet(thats still in warranty). First trying to get me to pay for postage, then avoiding e-mails.
Stay away from the gamepad, many people are having issues with it. And whatever you do, do NOT buy direct from archos. If there's any issue with your item, you will regret buying from them.

Build quality 7/10 plastic, buttons seem dodgy, but price wise it makes sense.

Reception 1/10 Its not a phone, no sim card slot either

Call quality 1/10 its not a phone

Internet 6/10 Normal

Multimedia 6/10 Basic android

Camera 5/10 don't know, never used it.

UI speed 6/10 Advertised with having quad core processor. Yet start up speeds and loading is very slow. Programs then often freeze needing a restart. This is the same with or without extra installed apps. The game mapping is also slow to register button presses.

Everyday usage 9/10 I'm an internet and gaming addict, I used it everyday til freezing issues became too troublesome. But, it is lightweight, and can be held one handed very easily.

Text input 7/10 Just fine

Display 6/10 Expected better, with HD quality and being spouted as a "gaming tablet" with "amazing visuals"

Battery 3/10 Absolutely Dreadful. Quoted as having 8 hours battery life. Good luck with that. You have about 4/5hours tops, with all unnecessary tasks switch off and only if left on stand-by/ not used. You get about 2 or 3 hours of actual use.

Cons

• short battery life
• low gaming choice on google playstore
• awful customer service(don't buy from archos)
• Common freezing issues
• just STAY AWAY :/
