T-Mobile begins selling microSIM cards for $9.99 - targets the iPhone 4 & iPad
T-Mobile customers who are gleaming with envy over the iPhone 4 and iPad can rest just a bit more easily now that the carrier is selling microSIM cards that target unlocked versions of the device. Rather than trying to cut existing SIM cards down to that size, these $9.99 microSIM cards absolutely removes the process from the equation.

Obviously, T-Mobile isn’t simply selling them because they want to, but they blatantly mention in the description that they’re ready to be used on unlock iPhones – or any other GSM phone accepting microSIM cards. Thinking about it more, it’s hard to see why anyone would want to pick up the card for free with a 2-year contract when it already boasts an acceptable retail price of $9.99. Well, maybe some plan to stick around with the carrier for 2 years?

Nevertheless, it’s just one less painstaking process for T-Mobile customers who dream of using any of Apple’s products with the carrier’s network – but be warned, you’ll be limited to EDGE speeds only.
