Motorola Moto Z Play is run through the GFXBench benchmark test
The Motorola Moto Z Play (XT1635) is expected to be unveiled on September 6th. The handset was recently run through GFXBench, which gives us the opportunity to confirm some of the phone's specs. The Moto Z Play carries a 5.5-inch screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. Powering the unit is an octa-core 2GHz CPU along with the Adreno 506 GPU. Earlier rumors suggested that the Moto Z Play would have the Snapdragon 625 SoC under the hood, which dovetails perfectly with the specs listed by GFXBench.
The Moto Z Play will sport 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage, according to the GFXBench benchmark test. A 16MP camera adorns the back of the unit, with a 5MP selfie snapper in front. Previous leaks called for a 3500mAh battery to be inside the device. A fingerprint scanner is aboard, and Android 6.0.1 will be pre-installed.
The specs found on GFXBench match specs leaked earlier by AnTuTu. We could see the Moto Z Play launched in October or during the following month. The device might be priced at the equivalent of $446 USD.
