LG Lucid 4G specs leak
While no pricing info has been part of the leak, we would be surprised to see the LG Lucid 4G cost anything other than $199.99 with a signed 2-year pact. For now, the LG Spectrum remains the Korean based manufacturers high-end model for Verizon. With a possible launch less than a week away, we should get the official announcement about the device from Verizon any day now.

So let me get this straight: Yesterday LG releases a statement that they have a goal to get back on the cell phone market and be a top contender in the cell phone industry once again by selling 35 million smartphones in 2012. The irony of this ridiculous statement is that you they are still pushing the flagship phone of Verizon for LG, being the Spectrum. This is a phone that was last years news that got a rating of 8. Um......this is a new YEAR! So what do they do to "keep up with the competition?" LG wants to release the Lucid: a mid-range phone that has a 4" display. While everyone else is making a screen 4.5" or higher, they release for VZW this year, A 4" SCREEN! No ICS because it's mid-range, I mean come on LG.
The point I'm trying to make is that this is the best they can do? They want to keep up with Samsung, Motorola, and HTC, you got to do better than that. I have the LG Revolution and that came out over a year ago and it has a 4.3" screen. What the f**k LG? Hell, I can't even blame Verizon for this crap they are releasing. But then again, I can because they accepted this s**t into their line up of "Flagship" phones. Ugh. Another waste of campaigning money.

Yeah, I got anger issues when it comes to a top notch company that can't get top notch phones. Dude, are you dillusional when it comes to what your reading? They want to compete with the rest of the companies and they come out with this as an offering to the best company in the U.S? If you believe that hype, maybe you need Dr. Phil.

Oh really? Tell that to your eyes when they strain looking at some 3.5" screen.

working in the cellular industry, this is not going to be their new "flagship" phone, Wildmanfan. Not everyone can afford to purchase a phone at a $199/$299 price point. Its just not feasable for everyone. If LG controls the middle grounds of the smart phone industry, they will do excellent. And whats more, a year ago, this phone would have been a fantastic phone. Stop taking things for granted. Studies show that 4"-4.6" is the screen size that will appeal to most people. Also, most of the women that purchase phones from me are not looking for a giant screen, they have smaller hands then most men. Maybe you should just be an apple fan

Let me ask you this. your telling me that everyone doesn't want a big screen but yet how come the Samsung Note is doing so well and statistically, women have bought the phone just as much as men have. And oh yeah, it's a 5.3" screen. f**k Apple and their 3.5" screen. If you can't afford this price but want a smartphone, maybe you should just be a 2g fan or a 3g fan with the way your talking.

Did you know that the Nova Display will be one of the best displays on any smartphone. Do you not see a 1.2gh dual core processor? Especially if its a 3rd or 4th generation its doing good. 1080p recording is pretty nice also. Some of the specs may not be the baddest of the bad but it very well suits a android user easily. 4in. screen may appeal to people that dont have the bigger hands. Relax and wait for all of the specs seriously. This will probably be a cheaper model than the spectrum. I wouldn't be surprised if I see it for $100 after a rebate or something. You will be surprised at what quality product LG is putting into a phone now a days.

But the difference is, it won't do any better than that. Your putting up a young contender again phones you just mentioned that are past their prime.

it better not go higher than $99 or the Spectum will completely over-shadow it.

there's no reason this phone should cost 200 bucks....the spectrum (especially with the Bogo) would devour the Lucid.
I expect this phone to be 100 - 150 bucks with contract or they're just being silly

So i have to ask this stupid question. whats the diference between this and the spectrum. very minor from what i see. Only positive is i hear this is supposed to have gorrila glass. but small proccesor and smaller screen yet same price. Seriously why bother selling it. The lg software is horrible every one i sell gets returned with bugs
