Check out these alleged renders of the LG G4 S

From Russia comes images and specs about the LG G4 S. Back in January, the model was rumored to be the device that made a trip through the GFXBench site. It was also rumored to be the smartphone that was discovered in a Verizon database entry. Months later, it seems that neither one was actually the LG G4 S.

According to Tuesday's published report, the LG G4 S resembles the LG G4 flagship. The phone comes with a 5.2-inch display that uses in-cell technology. Resolution is 1080 x 1920. The phone is equipped with an octa-core 1.5GHz CPU. An 8MP camera is on back with laser autofocus.

The LG G4 S will be offered in the second half of next month. LG will reportedly be marketing the phone as a high-end model priced as a bargain. That specific pricing is unknown at this time, but it will be lower than the price for the LG G4.
