I actually like the iPhone 4 design. If they found a way to make the back look like glass - but be made from something much more sturdier - it would have been better.

When it comes to external product design - few do better than Apple. Everyone's gotta admit that.

This however looks a lot like iPhone 2G - the very first iPhone.

It's not a bad design, but the iphone 4/4s's design is much more appealing. Maybe they should make a unibody aluminium design, that would really rock.

To be honest, even though this phone does look pretty damn nice, I still hope that this isn't it.

But I don't really understand you're whole "Revolutionary? Amazing? Magical? Nope" statement. Even IF this is the actual design, which I highly doubt, we can pretty much be sure that its ahead of all other smartphones in terms of build quality and design. This design still has the potential to be the best in today's market. What can beat it? HTC One X? Samsung Galaxy SIII? Nexus Galaxy? I really don't think so. Until there's something out that's better, you can't really complain.

What exactly makes you think so?

The iPhone 4 design was unique since it had glass on it's back. Not so here. So what makes you think that this thing is better than anything that's out there already?

You're right, this picture show that this designs has no glass on its back, but we don't even know if its a bad thing yet. I actually looks really nice and might even feel good as well. Who knows! A glass back is not required to make a well-designed smartphone.

Do you think the designs of any of the current devices are Revolutionary, Magical, or Amazing? cause it kinda seems like you do.

Nope. Thing is, however - apart from Apple - no other company claims that their products are magical, amazing and revolutionary.

If someone - especially an entire company decided to be arrogant - they will be proved wrong.

If anything the glass back is what made the average user not like the iphone. Sure it looked great but everyone complained why is it glass. I rather have a phone that didnt shatter if i dropped it on my carpet

Personally, HTC has a winner with the design and construction of the EVO 4G LTE. Their biggest f*ck-up with the EVO 4G LTE was the Sprint exclusive.

Its certainly like the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s situation where the differences are so little its almost irrevelant. Seeing as all the phones will run ios 6 (itself with minimum new features) its looking like the only real difference in external appearance in the 'new iPhone is a slightly stretched screen.

That saying due to its Ifan base who will buy and support apple no matter what the product is and the fact that apples primary buyer base are teens looking to stay with whats 'cool' apple can easily release the same phone 3 times and it will be a success each time. Looking at apples point of view,if your buyer base is going to buy the product no matter what it makes economical sense for you not to exert anything more than minimal resources and effort into changing the product
