Epic is not the word to describe this phone in todays world, but back in its day, jaws would've been dropping like people surprised to see superman walk right in front of them.superman is faster than a speeding bullet in the real world. The V3xx was faster than a speeding bullet in the virtual world. it packed a mighty 400 Mhz processor that left most of the competition in the dust. if you're on the knows about processors, you would know that, that's just a number the real meat is in the processor itself and how the OS bites in to it. Motorola sure knew how to bite into this one though. And to add the cherry on the sundae, nvidia gave it a SUPER BOOST with their 4800 goforce. now even though the video card could've done 3.2MPX capture, moto kept to a 1.3MPX in order to assure better quality, faster image processing and great response.you don't get that in today's market. no sir. let's go at the screen shall we. this phone only 262K colors and i'll tell you, it did an impressive job with those colors, so smooth and vibrant. i remember watching some TV show's on the unit and it felt as good as a TV. the resolution on the display was 240X320, but you could only upload a 176X144 res file to the phone. that doesn't matter, you'll only be paying attention to what's in front of you not what's in the background. plus the video card kicks in to high gear along with the ultra fast memory card reader to help you zip through the video when fast forwarding. What a great phone this was. the call quality was of the utmost crispness. the speakerphone was so loud, i used to it to disturb my roommate while he was going at it with his girlfriend and it was driving me nuts. if i could still get my hands on one of these, boy would i be happy to stick it to those cry baby iphone owners.
i used to have this phone. it worked for about 3years and then i accidentally dropped it in a pool :-(it was an awesome phone, i have to say. they don't make phones likes this anymore. now everything is high-tech BS.things use to be simple, people used to be simple. now people are complicated and greedy and they want it all.this is pushing the market to garbage phones, that aren't actually phones anymore. they're more like pocket computers that have to do all the useless things everyone wants them to.back in my days people use to have conversations, now all they do is listen to music the whole time and rot their brains. i tried having a conversation with a youngster, and boy let me say his vocabulary was no better than a 5th grader.having said that.i'd like to point out that this phone was easy to use, great for phone calls and text messaging. didn't really need it for anything else. oh and the receiver was superb, crystal clear and loud.
i bought an iphone4 after my V3XX died and let me say this: the V3XX makes the iphone4 look prehistorici mean come on the call quality on the moto is so much better, plus i don't get dropped calls like there's no tomorrow.the screen on the V3xx was impeccable, the iphone screen is ok not the greatest thing aroundthe speakerphone is about equal, both are quite loud and clear. sometimes a i get a weird hissing sound ouf of the iphoneanother thing i'd like to point out is the feel, the V3XX fees like a phone, the iphone feels like a block
This phone spells epic. i would chose it over any andoid, symbian, or what have you phone anytime any place.i love how the screen was so crisp and clean. i loved the design and the speed of it. this phone was what a cell phone was meant to be plus more. it did its job. it was a great soldier in the cell phone battlefield, but now it's been laid to rest and it's successors have yet to trample over its greatness. one can only wait for the arrival of a superior phone with functions and features that are worth as much as this.
i'm surprised a lot of ppl love this phone just like me. the only downside to it was that it randomly restarted. i don't know why. it was a great phone though. and i hope motorola makes more phones like this one. unfortunately i can't find this anywhere and be guaranteed that it's still functional. last one i bought from a someone wasn't working too great. i think they dropped it.
this phone was so good. my BF bought it for me.
i love him to death for getting me it. :-)
it's hard to believe motorola took this phone off the market. the screen was fantastic. i've never seen a handset witt a screen as stupifying as this one. the color simply radiate in front of your eyes.hopefully they shall make one of equivalent or greater beauty.
it may be old but it's still good for a phone. i love this phone to death
slick and powerful
easy to carry and reliable
nice clamshell design
crips screen color
powerful mp3
great video player
excellent camera
loud speaker
solid flip
dual camera
nice internal camera
if anyone knows where i can get my hands on one these devices please let me know. i had one and it stopped working once i plugged it inot windows vista. vista messed it up.getting to the pointthis phone=EPICyou can't get any better than this. i mean you could try but you won't. the screen is so legible. the sound quality is fantastic. this tops nokia. period!it's slim and powerful. more powerful than an a-bomb. this phone is the bombthe keypad is TOO good, very responsive. razr v3 got owned by MAXXMAXX for the win
it's the king of phones with it's sweet and crisp screen. it's nice and loud receiver. the phone itself makes me happy to look at and hold. the integrated GOforce 4800 makes videos and gaming an intense experience for a mobile.it's unfortunate though mine recently died on me :-(
i purchased the razor v3xx when it first came out. i still have it, and use it to this day. i replaced my razr with a blackberry curve, but always find myself using it when i have to send my curve back for service, and fall in love with it all over again. i wish they still made phones like the razr, it really is an amazing phone. the keypad, the looks, the sound quality. it has it all. it has never falied me.
this is the ultimate show-off phone. i felt like a king with it in my hand. super fast and does everything i want. it has a nice sexy exterior face plate and the black and silver finish gives a sleek look. motorola owned the market when they launched this bad boy out there.
nice phone. it wasn't cheap at the time that i got it, cost me a lot because it's so fast and it's clear when you're in a call.
mine got stolen and i hope the person that stole it goes straight to H**L. i miss this phone. now i got a crappy N95 which really sucks and i can't take anymore of it's slow responsiveness. too bad my ericson doesn't work anymore i would've used that instead.
great phone. super fast with nice features and friendly user interface. fast camera too. strong battery. nice and sexy screen
i really liked this phone, unfortunately it got stolen from me. kinda makes me sad but i moved up to the V9x which is pretty good. i really like motorola and how fast their phones are.
it brought a tear to eye when i heard they discontinued this piece of artistic beauty. only few were permitted to test its incredible power and only few could handle this phone of many intrigues. with its blazing fast camera any event could be captured with only a single click and store instantaneously. its magic eye sees all and capts all.
unfortunately this phone was removed from the production line to make way for it's younger brothers which include the great and powerful V9X, which hopefully in time will rise to the rank of the MAXX. how much power can one contain in such a small piece of hardware, only motorola knows. as we have seen in the V3XX a godliness of greatness may be placed within such a small piece of plastic, metals and silicon.
very nice and compact phone had it for years now and it's still running well. i love the clarity of the screen and how fast it runs.
great phone, very sturdy, loud receiver. dual cam with sharp pic quality thanks to nvidia's great video card in it.
plays mobile games really well. battery lasts long. i wish they still made this phone. my was stolen awhile ago.
broke my heart when i lost it.
*sigh* i wish there was something we could do to catch these thieves.
sweet piece of eye candy. i wish they kept it on the market. the phone is slim, light and nice. not only that but it's really fast and very responsive. the one feature that knocks my socks off is the camera, its lightning fast and great. the Nvidia Goforce 4800 really delivers quality images.
I had this phone befor but was pushed into a pool! So i got the lg shine i liked it for about three months. Then its started screwing up, so i got the razr v3xx and i love it all over again! Its light, cool, and has great features the one problem is i bought it in springfield and thats in a different state so i have to go to a local atat store to get my zip code enterd but thats only minor i totaly recomend this phone!
This was one of my first phones, and i got really tired of seeing it. Don't get me wrong, it's very sleek and pretty durable, but toooo many people had it, the keypad was flat, and i think it was just a little overrated. I'm being as honest has i can be with this. It lacks in features, it's just very, very basic.
Ive had this phone for a year and its done really good. Its awesome for texting (which is what I use it most for anyway) and has good IM and email and other stuff. Its been very very durable. I drop my phone all the time and it still works. Its been frozen rained on and pretty much thrown at walls and it still works. The camera is only 1.3 mpx but it looks better than other phones that have 3 mpx. The camera gets everthing really clearly and is good for action shots and stuff. The one problem that I've had is that the back falls of really easily. Ive had to tape it down because even if you put it on the table too hard the back and battery fall out. Sometimes When I have missed calls it doesnt always show them or tells me about it a day later. The front screen scratches pretty easily and the down button doesnt work sometimes but thats pretty much it. Changing background and ringtones is really easy, its easy to put music and stuff on it. Overall good phone.
one of the sweetest phones i've ever owned. this phone consistently knocks my socks off everytime i use it. the screen is so clean and clear it's unbelievable. the Goforce 4800 really packs a punch. it processes unbelievalby fast and the pictures come out great, so do the video's.
switched from rokr to this and i must admit this phone is great. it doesn't have the best mp3 function, but atleast it slides into your pocket easily
this phone always puts a smile on my face. i'm always tempted to use it because the sound quality is incredible. i love this phone. i love you motorola, so much less complicated than nokia's annoying phone's.
but i do miss my pantech :'(
i just love how fast it is. and it feels solid. never had a problem with it.
the motorola phone tools is annoying though it sometimes doens't pick up the phone.
anyways i love it and am happy with my buy
