Looking forward to 2026's busy sports year? With Super Bowl LX starting less than a month from now, fans are probably wondering how to stay connected in stadiums — a painful subject for sports enthusiasts. AT&T has just announced the solution.

AT&T Turbo Live boosts your stadium experience

Just recently, AT&T announced Turbo Live, a unique VIP connection designed specifically for live events. Available to anyone with a 5G smartphone (yep, including T-Mobile and Verizon users), the new feature will help users stay connected even in crowded stadiums.

Apparently, AT&T listens. For sports fans, experiencing live events often involves painful connectivity issues, especially in crowded areas. By providing users, all users, with a stable and reliable connectivity solution, AT&T is leaving those struggles in the past.

Even better, setting up Turbo Live promises to be incredibly straightforward. Users will be able to download Turbo Live starting early February. Right now, they can sign up to receive updates on when and where the upcoming VIP connectivity for live events will become available.

Just a note: fine print says that, aside from a 5G device, users may need an unlocked phone, as well as an available eSIM slot, to access Turbo Live.

Rollout and availability

As mentioned, AT&T will begin rolling out Turbo Live in early February, ensuring stable and high-quality connectivity for the year’s biggest events.

Initially, it will be available in 11 stadiums, including Levi’s Stadium (Santa Clara) and the Sphere (Las Vegas). A broader expansion across America’s stadiums is expected afterward, allowing every sports fan to experience high-quality connectivity during live events.

Full list of stadiums with Turbo Live access

  • Alamodome, San Antonio, TX
  • Bryant-Denny Stadium, Tuscaloosa, AL
  • Hard Rock Stadium, Miami, FL
  • Intuit Dome, Los Angeles, CA
  • Levi's Stadium, Santa Clara, CA
  • Lumen Field, Seattle, WA
  • Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, GA
  • MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ
  • NRG Stadium, Houston, TX
  • Sphere, Las Vegas, NV
  • United Center, Chicago, IL

AT&T’s official press release doesn’t provide any information on how much the VIP connectivity service will cost. That said, the carrier’s Turbo plan add-on is priced at $7/mo per line, with a recently introduced daily subscription of $2. It’s highly likely that Turbo Live users will be charged on a daily/visit basis as well.

Leading the pack

Giving every user reliable connectivity access isn’t a move you can often see from any of the “Big 3.” This AT&T announcement sets a bold precedent: putting the user experience at the forefront, even if it means setting competition aside (for a while).

Now, I won’t be so naive as to believe AT&T will remain the sole US carrier to provide such a consumer-friendly feature — but it is the first to the finish line. I think T-Mobile and Verizon will follow with their own connectivity-enhancing features for live events, maybe even in the very near future.

Who knows, we might even see future versions that accommodate locked phones or older devices. But for now, AT&T has officially made live events more pleasant — let’s see if the other two step up to the plate.
