Summer release tipped for Optiemus' BlackBerry Ghost handsets; dual camera setup included
BlackBerry licensee Optiemus stunned us with renders of its near bezel-less BlackBerry Ghost and BlackBerry Ghost Pro earlier this year. Both models feature what has been dubbed "the modern look" with an edge-to-edge display and an 18:9 aspect ratio. Before today, the latest news about these spirited handsets came from Optiemus' executive director, Hardip Singh. In an interview published last month, the executive said that the company would unveil its first two BlackBerry handsets this current quarter. Could the pair be the Ghost and Ghost Pro?

Today, tipster extraordinaire Evan Blass sent out a tweet about the BlackBerry Ghost handsets. Blass said that the handsets are due out this summer and will feature dual rear cameras with low-light enhancement and optical zoom. The Ghost series will probably end up an India-only affair, and will come with DTEK and BlackBerry Hub pre-installed.

Stateside BlackBerry fans (and we know you're out there) will have their own dual camera setup to cheer about once the BlackBerry KEY2 is released. The sequel to the low selling (yet somehow popular) TCL-built BlackBerry KEYone will be unveiled on June 7th.
