Samsung's latest one day-only deals include free Gear Sport, tablets, Gear VR, and more
Another day, another round of sweet gifts and discounts available for 24 hours only through the official US e-store of the world’s largest smartphone manufacturer. This is day 7 of Samsung’s special “12 days of deals”, and alas, the company’s best Android handsets have all gone back up to their list prices.

But what if we told you there’s now a way to get a Galaxy tablet or Gear smartwatch completely free of charge? That arguably beats a $200 or $300 discount on a Galaxy Note 9, S9, or S9+ with monthly payment plans, although you obviously can’t just go on samsung.com/us and order a gratis Gear Sport by itself.

Instead, you’ll have to spend $1,500 on a 75-inch UHD TV to qualify for an awesome freebie of your choice. The Gear Sport smartwatch is not even the most valuable gift you can opt for. That would be a robot vacuum typically priced at a whopping $499, but you’re also free to choose a $280-worth 11.6-inch Chromebook, a 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab A that normally fetches $280 as well, or the aforementioned $230 or so Samsung Gear Sport.

Meanwhile, the $850 purchase of a 65-inch Smart 4K UHD TV comes with a complimentary Galaxy Tab A 7.0, SmartThings WiFi router, or AKG Y50BT on-ear Bluetooth headphones. That’s a cool savings of anywhere between $120 and $180.

Those not in the market for a premium Smart TV so soon after Black Friday and Cyber Monday can instead get a wireless Hi-Fi speaker at its “lowest price of the year” or a free Gear VR headset with a bundled controller when coughing up $230 for the latest version of the Gear 360 camera.
