Samsung has just announced it's expanding the feature set of its Samsung Care+ device protection plans across Europe.
Samsung Care+ now includes unlimited repairs and more walk-in repair locations across Europe
Samsung is now upgrading its Samsung Care+ program to meet the evolving needs of Galaxy owners. Now, the program includes unlimited repairs and more walk-in repair locations across Europe, as well as other enhancements.
Here's what Samsung is changing.
First off, there's a new Unlimited Accidental Damage Cover option. This offers protection to users from knocks, drops, and spills. What's cool here is that it doesn't matter how many times you damage your Galaxy; you should be covered for a Samsung-certified repair. Of course, limitations still remain, depending on the terms and conditions of the company.
Another new enhancement for Samsung Care+ is comprehensive coverage both at home and abroad. There's no longer a 60-day trip limit for this feature. You can visit any walk-in repair center for quick repairs if these centers are available in the region. Claims can be made online or by phone at any time of the day.
There are now 175 new walk-in repair locations open. Samsung also says more locations would be added in the future. So, whether you're traveling or home, if your claim is accepted, you will be directed to the local walk-in repair center.

You can also choose to send your Galaxy device for repairs. Samsung Care+ will arrange collection and delivery for fast service.
What's even cooler is that Samsung Care+ now offers extended warranty and device longevity. This basically means that if you experience mechanical or electrical failure during the standard warranty period, Samsung Care+ covers the repair for the duration of the term.
Meanwhile, if the battery capacity of your Galaxy falls below 80% after the end of the standard manufacturer warranty, you are eligible for a free battery replacement. And that's epic, if you ask me.
There's a new monthly payment option for up to 60 months of coverage. Thanks to this new payment option, you can have flexibility. Of course, you're allowed to cancel at any time.
Still, if you're someone who prefers a fixed-term option, the option for a two-year policy is also available with a single payment.
Customers can also include theft and loss coverage in their policy. When a claim is approved, you get a replacement device within 49 hours. You have to activate Samsung Knox Guard in order for the device to be covered by this theft and loss coverage option.
With Samsung Knox Guard, you can remotely block missing devices and keep your personal data away from the hands of thieves.
Would you pay for Samsung Care+ now that it includes unlimited repairs?
What is the competition doing?
Samsung's biggest rival, Apple, also offers AppleCare+. The service traditionally covers up to two accidental damage claims over its term, and it also handles battery replacements at no extra cost. You don't get unlimited repairs by default, though.
Samsung's expanded Care+ is very competitive, especially for busy users who want peace of mind across drops and everyday accidents. Apple's service is still strong with global support and theft coverage, but it's a bit more limited in how often you can claim.
This is the kind of Care+ upgrade I like
I like the direction Samsung is taking with Care+. Unlimited repairs alone is something, simply put, epic. Phones are expensive, accidents happen, and it's not fun having to count how many times you've dropped your phone. This option could remove the mental stress of that.
The battery replacement part also stands out. It's a big deal, especially if you want to keep your phone for years. This is now becoming a real long-term protection, not just a safety net, thanks to the growing number of walk-in repair centers as well.
