Samsung announces Galaxy Watch Golf Edition
A Golf Edition of the Samsung Galaxy Watch may sound like a weird thing, but it's actually nothing new. Last year, Samsung launched a Gear S3 Golf Edition that came with the Smart Caddie app with information about a whopping 60,000 golf courses across the globe. The Galaxy Watch Golf Edition is no different in this regard – it's the same as the regular Galaxy Watch, but comes with the special software on board.
Developed in collaboration with Golfzon Deca, the Smart Caddie app offers many convenient features, such as shot tracking, record keeping, and elevation and geographical data for golf courses all around the world.
As was the case with the special Gear S3 edition last year, the Galaxy Watch Golf Edition has launched in South Korea, but there's no word yet on when it will be making its way West. The watch is priced at 409,700 won ($367) and 389,900 won ($351) for the 46mm and 42mm models respectively.
