Galaxy Watch Active 2 and unlocked Galaxy A50 pre-orders open, Galaxy Tab S6 deliveries begin
Samsung didn't have any brand-new devices to announce at this year's IFA trade fair in Berlin, but while the exhibition where the reinforced Galaxy Fold is being showcased continues, a bunch of recently unveiled Galaxy products are going up for sale in the US.

First up, the Galaxy Watch Active 2 is delivering on the company's early August promise by kicking off pre-orders at $279.99 and up ahead of an actual release on September 27. The fitness-centric smartwatch comes in 40 and 44mm sizes, the latter of which fetches $299.99, with a 10,000mAh wireless charger/portable battery combo included at no extra cost. Don't forget that the best thing about Samsung's latest Apple Watch rival is not active yet (pun very much intended), and you may need to wait until next year to get an ECG on your wrist.

Meanwhile, the upper mid-range Galaxy A50 handset has actually been available on several carriers for a few months now, finally spreading its wings to the US in an official unlocked variant as well. This is up for pre-order at Best Buy and if you don't have a problem activating it on Sprint or AT&T upfront, you can pay as little as $199.99. Verizon customers have to cough up 50 bucks more, with later activations raising the price to $349.99.

Amazon has an interesting unlocked Galaxy A50 pre-order deal in the pipeline too, gearing up to bundle the phone with a free Galaxy Fit wearable at the same $350 price. For its part, Samsung can only promise to offer discounts of up to $300 with eligible trade-ins through its official US e-store. Alongside the Galaxy A50, the lower-end Galaxy A10e and Galaxy A20 are coming to Samsung.com in unlocked variants priced at $179.99 and $249.99 respectively.

Formally unveiled a few days before the Galaxy Watch Active 2, the Galaxy Tab S6 is finally shipping to its earliest adopters, also expanding to brick and mortar stores nationwide at a starting price of $649. The high-end Android slate can still be purchased alongside a half-off Book Cover Keyboard (until September 26).
