Expected to see whether the Oppo Find X10 Ultra will become the best camera phone when it comes out? Well, it may be time to adjust your hopes; a new leak suggests the upcoming high-end Oppo phone may not make it to launch.
Oppo might have put its next flagship on the back burner

According to prominent Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station, Oppo may have suspended its high-end Find X10 Ultra model. Although less than 24 hours ago, another well-known tipster shared the possible camera specs of the upcoming beast, DCS's latest update gives mobile photography fans a reason to worry.
Technically, the leaker claims the project is "currently suspended." That could mean Oppo might have decided to skip a generation or permanently cancel its Find X Ultra lineup.
Then again, the brand could have simply decided to delay development to re-evaluate the potential rising component costs and measure them against the potential profits in an increasingly crowded ultra-premium segment.

A few days ago, DCS and Smart Pikachu shared some rumored specs regarding the supposedly delayed Oppo Find X10 Ultra on Weibo.
Apparently, the model was rumored to have a 6.89-inch 2K display with a snappy 144Hz refresh rate and a Dimensity 9600 Pro chip under the hood. The device was thought to be equipped with a huge 8,000mAh battery, putting the Galaxy S27 Ultra's expected 5,700mAh to shame.
The real highlight was widely expected to be a triple 200MP camera setup and a native 50MP 3x zoom lens on the rear.

If those leaks were accurate, we might have been on the verge of welcoming a very serious Galaxy S27 Ultra and iPhone 18 Pro Max rival. Indeed, with three 200MP cameras, a flagship-grade chip, and a massive battery, this might have just been the ultimate flagship to consider.
Officially over?
While DCS shared the news just recently, many X tipsters have already picked it up, interpreting the update as proof that the Oppo Find X10 Ultra is officially terminated.
I, however, wouldn't jump to this conclusion just yet. While the project is likely suspended now, Oppo could resume it later in the quarter or early next year.
If anything, I'd say it's best to keep our expectations modest and prepare mentally that one of the best Galaxy S27 Ultra rivals may not make it to launch.
