OnePlus might have pulled out of the global market, but if you bought a OnePlus device, there's some good news. The company has published the official ColorOS 17 update roadmap, detailing all the devices getting the latest Android 17-based UI, along with the exact schedule.
OnePlus 15 is getting Android 17 first

Unsurprisingly, the OnePlus 15 will be the first device to get ColorOS 17. The rollout is expected to begin on October 29, and the list includes the OnePlus Pad 4 as well.
Next in line are the OnePlus 15R, OnePlus 13, and OnePlus 13S. These are the previous-generation devices and the affordable version of the OnePlus 15. They are expected to get the update on October 30.
Strangely enough, the OnePlus Fold will start getting Android 17 in the third wave along with mid-range phones such as the OnePlus Nord 6 and OnePlus Nord CE6. Older flagships such as the OnePlus 12 and 13R are on the same schedule — getting the latest Android sometime in November.
The year closes with the last batch in December: OnePlus 12R & OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition, OnePlus 11, OnePlus Nord 5, OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite, OnePlus Nord CE5, OnePlus Pad 2, and the OnePlus Pad Go 2.
Entry-level OnePlus models will have to wait until Q1 2027
The older budget OnePlus models will also get ColorOS 17, but this will happen at the beginning of next year. If you own a OnePlus Nord 4, OnePlus N6, OnePlus N6x, OnePlus N6 Lite, or OnePlus Pad Lite device, your update is scheduled for Q1 2027.
There's another interesting change buried in the roadmap. Older OnePlus phones running OxygenOS will transition to ColorOS with this new update.

No need to panic! People inside the Reddit thread covering the news in the OnePlus subreddit correctly point out that ColorOS and OxygenOS are almost identical and there's no reason to be worried about the switch.
Apparently, this schedule is approximate and subject to change. | Image by Reddit
Another point of consideration is the fine print, saying that "The schedule is approximate and subject to change, depending on device model, region, and carrier."
Which basically means nothing is certain. But the good news is that OnePlus hasn't abandoned its global fans, and they'll get at least one last hurrah in the face of the Android 17 update.
