The greatest ever Moto G Stylus (2025) deal makes the 6.7-inch mid-ranger a 2026 must-buy

In theory, the Moto G Stylus (2025) shouldn't be at or near the top of many holiday shopping lists this year for fairly obvious reasons. But although the Moto G Stylus (2026) is clearly better than its predecessor in a couple of key ways, the pricing difference between the two latest pen-wielding Motorola mid-rangers would only be justified by a significantly more expansive set of bigger upgrades and improvements.

That's especially true at a new record low price for last year's 5G-enabled Moto G Stylus. Yes, Amazon is selling the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3-powered 6.7-incher for $120 less than usual, beating the $50 and $80 discounts frequently offered over the last few months and a $100 markdown that used to be a relatively regular occurrence in late 2025.

If you can afford it, the Galaxy A57 5G might be the best mid-range Android phone available right now, especially at a $100 discount.

It's not easy to find a faster, prettier, more versatile, and overall better-equipped phone than the Moto G Stylus 5G (2025) right now at a lower or similar price. The 6.7-inch mid-ranger is marked down by an unprecedented 120 bucks in a 256GB storage variant and a decidedly eye-catching Pantone Surf The Web color option with a 120Hz refresh rate-capable AMOLED screen, respectable Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, and 5,000mAh battery equipped with 68W wired and 15W wireless charging technology.

That stopped being a thing shortly before the entire Moto G (2026) family received price hikes back in April, and while the G Stylus (2026) joined said family a little later, its own list price was set at a rather prohibitive level for many cash-strapped Motorola fans.

What's worse is the Moto G Stylus (2026) is almost never discounted from its regular prices of $499.99 and $599.99 in 128 and 256GB storage variants respectively, which only makes Amazon's latest and greatest Moto G Stylus (2025) deal feel that much more attractive and harder to turn down.

The 2025 edition is marked down by 120 bucks from a very reasonable $399.99 list price, mind you, and yes, that includes a generous 256 gigs of internal storage space, as well as a more than respectable 8GB RAM count.

The older and newer Moto G Styluses are not only incredibly similar from a cosmetic standpoint, also packing the exact same Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, dual 50 + 13MP rear-facing camera system, 32MP selfie snapper, and 120Hz refresh rate-capable AMOLED screen. Granted, the 2026 edition comes with a little extra battery life and a more sophisticated pen, but that's probably not enough to justify an additional expense of $220 or $320 more.

The Moto G Stylus (2025) also looks like an overall smarter buy right now than Samsung's costlier Galaxy A37 5G and Galaxy A57 5G... even though Motorola's software support is far from stellar, with no major OS updates guaranteed for this particular model beyond the impending Android 17.
